Wisdom Course: Guide

Words from the Lord are in red italics.

COURSE SCOPE

This course is meant for instructor-led groups but can be used by individuals. It is highly recommended that groups and individuals who are not yet hearing wisdom from the Lord participate in instructor-led training.

Participants in this course should be convinced of their need to dedicate themselves entirely to Christ. This applies to instructors and participants alike.

Why? Disciples are required to be “all in”; there is no part way with Christ. There is nothing else but Jesus, to know Him and to do His will to see heaven.

Therefore, be resigned to the fact that the life you have in the natural will fade away as He has promised to those who genuinely seek Him.

Initially, you may fear this, but soon, you will look forward to communicating with Jesus and obeying Him more than anything else.

This course requires discipline. It is meant to prepare and condition people’s hearts to hear from Him from within, in spirit, so they can know Him and ultimately know the glory of the Father.

The discipline is the training program you must put forth to save these souls so they know the glory.

The duration of the Course is intended to be three days:

Three days to a life of salvation, hope, and purpose in the kingdom of the Lord. In being crucified in Christ, they will need to be steadfast in preparation during that time to rise up as a follower of Christ.

This Course is for transforming people's hearts to hear the Lord in spirit so they may be disciples of Christ.

The Holy Spirit does the necessary work within people when they separate themselves from the world and consume Him.

This is the first step toward righteousness and experiencing Jesus Christ in spirit, as He is spirit.

What is the training?

Three days of morning fasting, of early to bed and early to rise to partake in the Word, to be fed Christ and hear wisdom, for the Holy Spirit to do work necessary in them and for their path to be prepared.

Three days of early to bed and early to rise, fasting in the morning and steeped in My word, steeped in the Holy Spirit.

Three days to circumcise the heart and be free from this world. All who separate themselves for Me will hear, will I hand them a stone?

The wisdom I have given is for them. They must drink it into their hearts and meditate on each word. This is why it takes three days. Three days of listening and learning from their hearts. I am their teacher. I am within.

The word from within flows like water from a spigot. Your soul desires to be showered with My word. Feed it what it needs.

Seek virtue and understanding from Me.

Look to Me for your understanding and purpose; I will lead the way.

Understanding of the Word comes from the Lord. Seek Him and His understanding as your fruit.

Understanding His words comes from Him, not from books or other people.

Just as your body will take care of itself when you feed your stomach what is right for the day, feed yourself the wisdom of the Lord, and it will be right for you for the day, and you will grow in the Lord according to His will.

Each training day is suggested to begin at Sunrise and end at Sunset.

Why so long? There’s a lot of wisdom to consume and to meditate on in three days.

Why so early? Discipleship training never really ends! Living through Him starts with getting up early daily to commune with Him.

Prepare to be Prepared.

The readiness of people who begin this course will vary. Although all may be convinced, not all are adequately prepared.

Jesus must be most important to you. How?

In everything you say and do, will and verbalize that you do it, say it, think it for the sake of My name, do it for Me. Keep saying, vocalizing that you’re doing what you’re doing for Jesus. Make it a testament of faith that you are acting, speaking, and thinking in My guidance, from Me and for Me. Then, your heart will learn to live and desire me genuinely and you’ll communicate with me freely.

Mind your mind; it will affect your decisions and your training.

When you fill your head with information that does not originate from Him, it is detrimental to you.

Possibly meditate on the words of Christ from the Bible in the days leading up to your training.

You will soon discover that we were never meant to study the Bible but to follow Jesus.

Do not fill your mind with garbage, for it will influence your decisions of the day. Instead, set your heart apart for Me and your mind will follow. I am the wellspring of knowledge and truth, and you are justified in Me. I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am justice and life everlasting. Seek Me, and you will find truth, happiness, forgiveness and mercy, a tender heart, and the keys to the kingdom.

Early to bed, early to rise.

If you are rolling into early morning training after being accustomed to staying up late, you will not be very receptive to His word.

More than that, you will be in disobedience to His command.

COURSE GOALS

The mind must be renewed by hearing the Word of God through the Holy Spirit.

It’s not the organization of His wisdom into study topics that matters; it’s the consuming of Christ and hearing wisdom that shapes the heart and mind.

Through wisdom, they shall find Me, and through Me, they shall find eternal life.

Participants will begin with various degrees of faith and abilities, but all should achieve these goals by the end of their training:

  1. Accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  2. Be fed (spoken) the Wisdom from the Lord into their hearts.

  3. Fear of the Lord.

  4. Understand that salvation and obedience to the Father’s will, His will for them individually, are prerequisites to entering the Kingdom of Heaven.

  5. Desire the Lord above all else; desire to please Him and give Him all glory.

  6. Understand that daily living should be in the supernatural: to be spiritually minded versus carnally minded, untie from the cares of this world, and walk with Christ in spirit so that He may lead them in all things.

  7. Hear the Lord fluidly through the Holy Spirit.

  8. Act on the commands of the Lord in obedience as disciples of Christ.

I am deliverance; this is a joyous occasion and is to be celebrated on its completion. Glory to God in the highest, let all come and see and be witness: a disciple is born!

FOR INSTRUCTORS

Instructors should be disciples, disciples as defined by Christ.

The Wisdom for this course was compiled from wisdom received from daily communing with the Lord and heeding that wisdom, which is an indicator of preparedness to instruct.

Most importantly, instructing this program should be His personal instruction for you.

Speak My words into the hearts of men and they will hear.

Although the Wisdom received from the Holy Spirit is the body of the Course, instructors should be led in the spirit while speaking the wisdom to participants.

Moving in the spirit should be part of daily life; discipleship instruction is no different.

The primary outcome of this program is for participants to hear from the Lord internally, through the Spirit.

And remember, it’s not up to instructors to transform people into hearers of the Word, but … for the Holy Spirit to do the work necessary in them.

Instructions for the day? Worship in spirit, witness of all things spirit, certainty of heart, receive the truth, spread peace, peace of mind, banish all things unclean, thwart the enemy, collaboration of souls, infuse dignity, shatter themselves; I rebuild.

What should be the group size? Consider facilitating a small group of participants of the same gender. Why? Discipleship training is intimate and requires focus; fewer people of the same gender usually means less distraction.

Where should a Course be held? This is up to you. How do you do it? Is it right for you? Any private place (indoors or outdoors), separate for Him, where people can listen and meditate on His words each day without distractions.

All will seek me differently, but they find Me in seeking, not in comfort. I am the way and the pasture; all must rest in Me and discover Me.

How should wisdom be delivered? The Holy Spirit should be present, and the participants should know that the Lord has designed the course to flood their hearts with wisdom so they may begin to hear Him in their everyday lives.

This is His way for His people today to expedite their pathway to Him.

To avoid frustration, their minds should not think about the words of wisdom but let them flow to their hearts in full immersion of the Holy Spirit.

People must be engaged in the purpose and not distracted or discouraged by their thoughts.

Speak slowly so participants can take the words slowly into their hearts.

Speak one snippet of the Wisdom for Disciples at a time (e.g., P1.3), pause for a few seconds and repeat the snippet, then pause for 30-60 seconds to allow the participants time to meditate on the wisdom depending on the length of the snippet.

Again, refrain from Q&A, discussion, visuals, and other distractions; let the participants drink the wisdom into their hearts. Consider speaking the Wisdom from behind participants to avoid being a focal point and distraction.

There should be a 5-minute pause every 30 minutes for the participants to reflect, journal, or take a break.

The goal is to have everyone listening to the Lord, so any coaching here would be welcome to those struggling to focus and drink the words into their hearts.

If all the snippets of the Wisdom for Disciples have been covered and there is still time left, cycle through the wisdom again.

If there isn’t enough time to cover all the Wisdom, optionally extend the course longer.

What about providing a place to sleep between days and food?

I am the center of the center, as is worship. They can seek Me here in solace and go elsewhere to sleep. [Their] food is My bread, of what do they need? I am a place of solace, not of sleep or food. Let them bring their food if they are not able [to fast].

After fasting for the first half of the day, there should be a 1-hour lunch break for those who choose to eat. Accommodations for sleeping and eating should not be in the same room as the Program.

Random Breaks

Anyone can take a break as often as they need. The Wisdom is meant to condition the heart, not for participants to necessarily consume all of it during the Course.

HOW TO BEGIN EACH DAY

Begin each training day with these actions to prepare for receiving His wisdom.

Seek without Stain.

Repent, or you must give account. Do not move forward this day without repentance to the One who takes away the sins of the world. So do not seek wisdom and worship while you carry the stain of sin. First, be made clean and seek me with your eyes always on heaven, and do not sin and have peace this day, for I will be with you.

Each morning, go to Jesus as the pillar of your salvation and become clean. Go into your day and sin no more. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. In faith, know that He is your provider and teacher of all things. He is your teacher; all you need to do is listen and obey.

Set the foundation of peace; let it flow from the spirit.

Banish all things unclean and thwart the enemy from attacks; scatter the enemy.

Have peace of mind and let peace flow to all within their hearts.

Peace seeks all within. In peace, speak My wisdom so they may know that I am the one, true God.

Peace must be your foundation in order to receive Wisdom. It is peace that surrounds your heart to be a fertile ground for wisdom.

Peace is the foundation for battle. In peace, the enemy has no foothold. In peace, we march on to victory. Proclaim peace, and the enemy will scatter, for chaos cannot live in order.

Remove sin and scatter the enemy. Listen to Me; sin is the foundation of the enemy. Remove the foundation and the enemy will be scattered. Can a building stand without its foundation?

Heal the soul.

Rise up for battle! Rise up! Let the enemy be scattered by the power of the sword of God! Let the light penetrate the souls of men and destroy the enemy from within.

Rise up seeds of glory and take down the tares from the seeds of infirmity. Glory, rise up, and destroy the enemy. Faith, protect until the healing is done and the enemy is scattered.

Give all and count all as lost.

Circumcision of heart is no small thing; it is to lose who you are and give all for Me. It is to branch out into the unknown and discover through the spirit. Circumspection of the heart, I will tear it down and rebuild it for the glory of the Father. All will come to Me or perish. All will know Me or suffer perdition until the end of time. Count all as lost and be counted into the kingdom for My glory.

Pray to begin each day.

This is an example of a prayer based on His instructions: pray in spirit and truth:

“Come Holy Spirit, fill me and immerse my heart, mind, and soul in You.”

“Father, my faith is in You as You order all things. Pour out Your glory on me as You own all glory.”

“Peace, flow from my heart and scatter the enemy from my mind, body, and this place.”

“Father, forgive my trespasses; wash away my stain through the power of the blood of the Lamb as I forgive all who have trespassed against me.”

“Plant seeds of Your glory in my heart, and remove tares of sin that I may hear Your words, receive Your wisdom, and not be hindered.”

“Enemy, in the name of Jesus, flee; you have no power here. All that is unclean, flee in the name of Jesus. Sin, be cast out, and let the spirit rise, unweighted to receive more glory from the Father.”

“Father, will in me and work through me this day, that I may be pleasing to You and honor Your name. Glory to Your holy name.”

“Thank you, Father, count me into Your kingdom; I give all to You and count all else as lost.”

DAILY AGENDA

  1. Say the Prayer to begin each day.

  2. Speak the Wisdom for Disciples into their hearts.

At the end of the course, the Lord said a celebration is due. This is the most significant first step in people's lives.

MEDITATION GUIDE

Being still in meditation takes a toll on the body and the mind. Taking His words of wisdom into your heart is the goal of meditating. Consider the following suggestions:

For the Body:

  1. Go to bed early at night and get up early; making Him the first of your day starts with making good decisions the night before. Therefore, be well-rested and awake!

  2. Be in a private, quiet environment to avoid distractions.

  3. Be in a cool, lit setting. Warm and dark settings often lead to tiredness.

  4. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

  5. Sit on an ergonomic chair or mat with pillows or supports that ease pressure on the ankles, knees, back, and neck and allow freedom of movement into different sitting positions.

  6. Sit upright with a relaxed body. Your feet can be folded (legs crossed) or on the floor.

  7. Keep your eyes closed or open in a fixed gaze.

  8. Keep warm with a blanket. Regulating body temperature and staying comfortable removes distractions.

  9. Have plenty of water to drink.

  10. Fast in the morning until you are finished; feed only on His word.

For the Mind:

  1. Take long, slow breaths; feel the breath travel into your lungs. Breaths do not need to be deep; there is no need to over-inflate the lungs.

  2. Focus on each word of Wisdom. Drop your consciousness from your mind to your heart. Take each word slowly, and feel the words entering your heart.

  3. Be mindful that the Wisdom is meant to condition your spiritual heart. Avoid analyzing the words during mediation; just let them flow into your heart and stir your spirit. In seeking Him, the Holy Spirit will bring understanding to the words that you need to know.
